Driftwood, shells and beach glass have all been collected from East Coast beaches, mostly Long Island.
They are constructed using weather friendly elements, from stainless steel fishing spinners to brass or stainless wire, and more. They are designed to withstand many years of the elements or look good hanging in a sunny window.
Shells vary from whole to interesting broken pieces.
Beach glass, beads, and marbles (from our childhood collection) are wrapped or threaded with wire and give the mobiles a unique, artsy look.
